Buying Access

Students can gain access to Connect Lucas in a three different ways:

Use the code included in new textbooks. This code is on the very first page of new books. Each code can only be used one time. This code will give the student access to Connect Lucas, with out the online eBook.
Purchase an access card in the school bookstore if the bookstore has them available. Access cards come in versions for Connect Lucas Plus, with the online eBook, and Connect Lucas, without eBook.
Purchase access to Connect Lucas online. Again, an online purchase can be made for either version – Connect Lucas Plus, with the online eBook, and Connect Lucas, without eBook.

To purchase access online:

Go to www.connectlucas.com
Click BUY

A screen displaying the recommended system configurations for using Connect Lucas will then display. Note that Connect Lucas works well with most computers with high-speed internet access.
Click BUY on the System Requirements page. A page describing the various features of Connect Lucas (without eBook) vs. Connect Lucas Plus (with eBook) will then display.
Select the version desired. Click REGISTER if you already have a course Registration code from a new textbook or an Access Card.
After you select the version you want (Connect Lucas, without eBook, or Connect Lucas Plus, with eBook), a new Tab or window will open up, displaying the relevant product information, including current price. (Note: To review the details for both versions before deciding to purchase, close the new Tab or window and select the other version from the About Connect Lucas page.)
Once the student has decided which version to purchase, s/he should click ADD TO CART on the appropriate product page.
On the Shopping Cart page, click CHECKOUT.
Students should then either create an account (enter email address and make up a password) or, if they already have a McGraw-Hill account, enter their email address and password.
Complete the billing information
Complete the payment information and click PLACE ORDER.
A Confirmation Page will display, and an e-mail confirmation will be sent to the student with the access code to use to register for Connect Lucas. For details on how students register for Connect Lucas, see the Student Registration Help Page.
