Once you have logged into Connect Lucas, you will see the Home Page, which looks something like this:
Note that your CONTENTS & ASSIGNMENTS (marked B above, on the left side of the page) may be different than what is shown above, if you have customized your Connect Lucas course. You can easily navigate to any other part of Connect Lucas by either: A clicking on items in the top navigation bar B selecting any item in CONTENTS & ASSIGNMENTS On the right side of the page, you’ll see areas for Instructor Announcements, Course Information, and Instructor Information. You can customize these completely for each class. Open the item you want to edit by clicking on the window icon to the right (see red arrow below).
Then click Edit, and type in the information exactly as you wish it to appear. Select a start and end date for the announcement and click “Insert” to save it to the Home Page for students to see.
